STUDENTS PARTICULARS
The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) granted approval and affiliation to S. Thangapazham Agricultural College with a sanctioned student strength of 60 during the academic year 2015–2016. Subsequently, an additional intake of 20 students was sanctioned in 2016–2017, followed by another 20 students in 2017–2018.
During the academic year 2018–2019, an additional strength of 15 students was approved. Further, an additional intake of 5 students was sanctioned in 2019–2020.
As a result of these enhancements, the sanctioned student strength was increased to 136 students from the academic year 2021–2022. Further, TNAU approved an increase in intake to 166 students from the academic year 2022–2023, which continues to be the sanctioned student strength for the academic year 2025–2026.
